    ABOUT THE NAV FESTIVAL

The New American Voices Playwriting Festival is a national playwriting contest which annually features four new American plays by some of the nation’s top emerging playwrights.  The plays are performed by local actors, and followed by a talkbacks with the playwrights, directors and casts.  The festival is open to the public, and offers the seasoned theatre-goer a stimulating taste of what’s next in American theatre!

This year the festival is online and we have added eight panel discussions by leading professionals in the theater industry on topics current to playwrights and the theatre community
