    This annual reading series features four new American plays chosen from hundreds of submissions from all over the country. Join us and meet some of our nation’s top emerging and veteran playwrights as their plays are performed by Houston actors, followed by a talkback with the playwright, artists and audience.     A fantasy story about a young female jockey named Devon thrown from her horse during a race, was trampled, and is now in a coma.  As an investigation unfolds to determine if malice was at play, Devon enters a world of out of body experiences, time travel and communicating with animals.  As she recovers she must learn the hard way the path to success with her newfound abilities.
