Wolf Cry Wolf
Written by: Kevin Kautzman
Directed by: Benito Vasques

About the show:

When Steph returns home to North Dakota for the first time in years and surprises her estranged childhood friend Jane, they descend into their memories and relive the summer Jane told Steph her deepest secret: she knows how turn into a wolf. WOLF CRY WOLF looks at the fine line between memory and imagination and at the lies we tell to survive our shadows.

CHARACTERS: Male 1, Female 2

JANE: a young, rambunctious, and imaginative girl that is dealing with a broken family.  A tough tomboy. (Female, Early 20s but needs to play a young teen)

STEPH: a young, gullible, Jewish girl that follows the rules but yearns for adventure.  A daddy’s little girl. (Female, Early 20s but needs to play a young pre-teen)

GEORGE: a smart, teenage boy that is a bit of a loner and likes to observe others.  A quiet shadow.  (Male, 18 and up but can play a teenager)

White America
Written by: Reginald Edmund
Directed by: Rachel Dickson

About the show:

In Reginald Edmund's White America, Thanksgiving dinner for the illustrious Winters', a political powerhouse family within the Republican Party that can proudly trace it's roots to United States foundation, turns into a debacle when their son Justin brings home his new wife and a secret that could shake the family tree to it's core.

  Tilly Winters: 60s, white female
Justin Winters: mid 30s, white male
Maria Winters: mid 20s, black female, married to Justin
Eileen Winters~Sommers: early forties, white female, married to Perry

Exit 27
Written by: Aleks Merilo
Directed by: Anne Quackenbush

About the show:
Since the year 2000, the citizens of one town have abandoned nearly
fourteen hundred boys in the Utah Desert. They are called the Lost
Boys of Utah.  EXIT 27 is based on their stories.

CHARACTERS: Male 4, Female 1

RYKER VALOY: male, about 17, Caucasian, slender, possibly blonde.

DODGE ARLAND: male, about 17, Caucasian, slender. He is leader of the “lost boys” with Ryker at his side.

SHYLER: male, about 16, Caucasian, slender; more cautious and emotional than the other boys.

BRODIE: male, about 16, Caucasian. Ran away from home only a few days ago, so less malnourished and filthy.

THE OUTSIDER: girl, about 16, Caucasian.

THE PEOPLE FROM THIS AREA DO NOT HAVE ACCENTS (i.e. no southern accent, no “hick” accents)

THE BOYS ARE ALL MORMON FUNDAMENTALISTS WHO HAVE BEEN EVICTED FROM THEIR SETTLEMENT FOR (WHAT WE WOULD CONSIDER) TRIVIAL INFRACTIONS AGAINST THEIR RELIGION. ALL BUT BRODIE ARE STILL FIRM BELIEVERS AND WANT TO RETURN TO THE FOLD.

BRODIE, SON OF A MORMON LEADER, CHOSE TO LEAVE.

THE GIRL IS MORMON, BUT NOT FUNDAMENTALIST – IN FACT, SHE DOESN’T APPEAR TO FOLLOW ANY RESTRICTIONS REGARDING CLOTHES OR BEHAVIOR. SHE LIVES IN A TOWN NEAR THE DESERT WHERE THE BOYS ARE HOLED UP IN AN ABANDONED HOUSE.

Directed by: Julia Traber

About the show:

What if all you want to do with your life is to make the world a better place? What if, to get the job that would let you do that, you have to get straight A’s? What if you also have to work two jobs and graduate in three years because your parents are out of work and no one ever left you a trust fund? What if most of your fellow students seem to have been given every unfair advantage and yet only care about making money or spending it? What if the only way you can beat them is to cheat? Would you still play by the rules?

Are you sure?

CHARACTERS: Male 2, Female 2

TRACY, a 21-year-old female college student; she is very bright, very guarded and not very affluent, the last of which she may attempt to cover with thrift shop flair.

PERRY, a non-athletic, smart, 30-year-old who is full of nervous energy and driven by a core insecurity that he tries to cover with bravado.  His attempts to exude command and power meet with varying degrees of success.

ROY, a 21-year old male college hockey player...stereotypical jock.  He doesn't want to learn much at university.  In his own words, "when I get out, I'm going to sell insurance. My dad owns a bunch of agencies. Insurance pays like a mofo."

MARGARET, an 18-year-old Chinese woman who is small in stature, but big in commanding personality and very bright. Her real name is Li Min. But in America she calls herself Margaret.
